About EHS

www.EnvironmentalHealthNews.org is published daily by Environmental Health Sciences, a non-profit organization founded in 2002. Our daily e-letter, Above The Fold, is available for free. Our syndication services also are available for free and are used by over 300 other websites around the world.
The mission of Environmental Health News is to advance the public’s understanding of environmental health issues by providing access to worldwide news about a variety of subjects related to the health of humans, wildlife and ecosystems.

Environmental Health Sciences has chosen ten outstanding scientists as Science Communication Fellows for 2008. They will help increase public awareness and understanding of environmental health science as part of a new program that aims to publish and promote new research findings to a general audience. Towards that end, EHN writes and publishes its own articles, which meet high journalistic standards of non-advocacy and balance. It also offers timely, daily access to the hundreds of other articles on environmental health topics that are published each day in the world press, and its searchable archives date back to 2002.
